I use a Yaqui Paddle holster from Galco and an El Paso Covert IWB. I also have a SOB holster from JR Customs that is by far the most comfortable and
convenient way to carry carry my 3" 1911.
Go to ebay and type in Milt Sparks. There are a few for sale there.
I really, really, really like the hybrid style holsters, especially with the 1911 for several reasons (by the way, I carry a compact citadel, basically the same gun as you).
1. the clips are far enough apart to spread the weight of the pistol out and make it easier to carry.
2. most of them are adjustable for ride height and cant
3. price (most under $70).
4. can be used with your 3.5" gun, a 4", 4.25" or 5" gun so it is versatile.
I have a Galco king tuck and love it very much, paid $49 shipped.
They are CONSTANTLY for sale HERE.
I carry mine in a King Tuk hybrid. It's for a full size I believe, but my compact fits perfectly. Comes with the bonus of being ridiculously comfortable.
I do from time to time carry a Springfield Micro Compact .45 in an IWB rig I bought from RGrizzle. It's a great rig. Broke it in with a little wax paper and the things works great.
I'm in favor of gun control -- I think every citizen should have control of a gun.

Blackheart6 Check out this web site TACTIPAC.COM & their FUSION IWB holster. They have a video on Youtube with the same name & Anthony the Company's owner does the Demo on it. I bought one for my XD40 last month. Cost $80.00 & only a 2 week waiting delivery time. This holster is fantastic, comfortable etc.I am so impressed with it, that I am ordering another one for my new Ruger SR1911 gun. Best $$$$ that I ever spent. And it beats any Belly Band holster hands down. So check it out.
Thanks everyone, will look at them all. Carry my Glock 23 in a King Tuk, so I am familiar with them. I don't care for their customer service though (stupid issue, but sometimes that's all it takes). Figured I would try something else this time.
Milt Sparks is the way to go. In addition to the other links provided, you can often find them on gunbroker
