You know what we need to do? Make holsters out of Burmese Pythons from Florida!!!

Since the Burmese Pythons are taking over the Florida Everglades, and maybe more, somebody ought to harvest some for their skins for holsters!!! How cool would that be! A Burmese Python Holster from Florida!

Well, I'm kidding of course, hmmm, but then why not put such an abundant resource to use?

Oooooo - and pants and especially concealment vests made from Burmese Python 'leather'!

And, wow - motorcycle leathers for cooler riding, with cooler having a double meaning here.

Why would you be kidding? At this point I don't know if you could make holster fast enough to dent the population.

LOL - that would be classy wouldn't it!

Imagine hearing that drawl coming from a guy in a python 'leather' vest!

I agree that they had best double time the effort on thinning them out or they are going to be the giant reptile rats of FLA and they will alter the entire ecosystem of the glades.

You know those things actually catch and eat alligators! And deer, and...I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere near a big hungry one.

I presume the smaller ones eat the smaller animals and they just keep growing and eating bigger things. Seems like they would consume the wildlife from small to large.

Not only are there uses for the skin, but think of the addition to restaurant menus.

How about a big bowl of python stew!

I have a couple pair of python skin boots. They are very attractive boots but the scales on the skin are kind of fragile. I wonder if the scales were removed how well the leather would look and if it would be sturdy enough.

I think you ought to go with the patent process there Tangle....Keeerap, python grips for 1911's would be enough to put you on Easy Street, Chattanooga. And....how does one go about harvesting those lil ********? I'm guessing it would envolve an efficient flame-thrower. (with python trimmed fuel canister).

Anything that makes PETA scream is fine by me, how about a python roundup like the rattlesnake roundups like we had when I was stationed in TX and OK.
