I have the same problem P95Carry.

The holsters I use most often are no problem. I have several that I have to "try" to see what they fit though. I would guess I have around 2 dozen too.

I WISH I could do the "one gun, oner holster" thing but there are too many different situations I end up iin.

When I started making holsters I cut apart over 50 to see how they were made....I still had 3 drawers full after that! TOO DAMN MANY!

Now....4 or 5....but I make me another every now and then :)

Wife and I have XD subcompacts. Between us, we have

2 unused "XD Gear" holsters that came free with the guns.
2 Bulldog holster/Fanny packs (Her primary carry, mine for winter use with Ohio's stupid car carry rules)
2 Crossbreed IWB (My primary carry, she is fussy about pants, rarely uses hers)
1 Hume Jit slide (temporary while waiting for the Crossbreed)
1 Uncle Mike's cloth IWB that didn't work out at all.

    Holsters

Let's see. I've got at least three or four for each model of gun I've got. Probably at least thirty holsters. This is counting the ones I've never worn out of the gun room, and the ones I use regularly. I've also got a Tucker Answer on order right now.

There are a lot of nice Kydex holsters out there for around $20, Uncle Mikes, and a lot on E-Bay.

Here are a couple of links to Rocky's threads abotu making some also. Really on the cheap side IIRC.

    Maybe 25 or so

Without doing a count, I estimate that I have about 25 holsters.

I "lucked out" twice. Once when I bought the gun, the other when I bought the holster.

I tried others, but wound up coming back to my Bianchi every time.

Now that I am transitioning in to a "new" pistol, I am on the look out for LH IWB 1911 holsters at the moment. Eventually I will get an OWB for it, but still in IWB weather here (for me IWB weather seems to be just about year round with exception of a couple weeks a year).

You MUST have at least one per gun minimum. But, in most cases 2-3 is needed, depending on the situation, like hot vs cold or wet vs dry or open carry vs concealed carry. Have many holsters...
