It wasn't bad then, and it's gotten better since dropping some weight.
Oh Hell, if it was only 25lbs I could still carry any way I wanted! When I was in my early 20s I was 5'9" and under 150lbs. I'm still 5'9" but closer to 230 lbs now. DR

    Not that much different.

I'm currently just under 5'11 and at 220.

So I was carrying AIWB at nearly 250lbs. And it was a G30 in a Summer Special-type holster. Now that I've went to a thinner Kydex and G19, it's easier.

    It can be done.
I like AIWB carry because its easier to access, but I couldn't carry that way with my G23. Its barely comfortable enough when I sit with my LC9 carried AIWB.
I have AIWB carried up to and including a G17L longslide (and yes, it did include a few hours of sitting).

It's the holster design and the correct position more than the gun.

    About 4:18 - 4:19 for me.
I'm in favor of gun control -- I think every citizen should have control of a gun.

And now I'm going through the same gyrations with my new Theis hybrid IWB with Kydex clips which I'm very happy with compared to the metal clips that are typical with this type of holster. Great holster and look forward to when it's broken in. Wearing it around the house all day to help it along.

I've tried 5 different positions and moved the clips up and down about 7 times so far.... I really need to get a life...

I have it up for sale as it isn't my "Goldilocks holster", just wasn't for me. Great holster and well built and I know a lot of folks rave about theirs.
