galco makes a good holster for the j-frame. i would also look at the clipdraw. i use it on a model 60. work well with no problems.

I have a Galco Summer Comfort for my 642 that I use occasionally. Most of the time, I pocket carry in a DeSantis Nemesis when I carry the J-frame. However, the Galco is a good holster, well made, conceals well. Most of the time if I'm carrying in a holster, I carry a full size 1911 (also use Galco holsters for it). Just my .02.

Can anyone that has one post a picture of a J frame in the N82 holster? Wondering how big that model is compared to the one I have for a G26.

I carry a Crossbreed SuperTuck with S&W Model 60-1 Chiefs Special with Crimson Trace Laser everyday in my home town and love it. If I'm going out of town to a larger high crime city I will carry a Glock 30 .45 ACP with a SuperTuck. These are my only two EDC weapons.

I carry my 642 in a high noon mr softy or a side guard minimal clip. I'm happy with both neither was over $40. One you can have in a few days and one while it takes a while you can have customized to meet your needs.
