    I only use a cross draw on two occasions.

    One is when hunting, I carry a Ruger Blackhawk in a belt holster on my weak side. Since I'm carrying a rifle as well it keeps the rifle from banging into the handgun while moving thru the woods.

    The other is when I'm on a tractor or 4 wheeler doing chores around the farm. In that case I use a GI style shoulder holster that places the weapon accross my chest rather than under the arm.

    When carrying concealed....it's always on my strong side hip.

    I always carry strong side but I often carry cross draw In the car. it's much easier to access when I have the seat belt on. An extra .357 snubby never hurts.

    Never used one but...

    I'd like to try a crossdraw IWB for my Glock 27, especially for this winter. Does anyone know of a high quality XDraw IWB?

    I find that when I am driving, several hours+, X draw is the most comfortable, only use shoulder holster when in the field [hiking or hunting].

    X-draw is also easier in the winter with heavy coats and multible layers, at least for me.

    Cross draw makes sense for some applications. For example, while seated, as in a car, a cross draw is easier to do.
