Is that the one with the wide shoulder straps?

I think you have to order the wide shoulder strap seperate.

I have both the Miami Classic (thin shoulder straps) and the Miami Classic II (wide shoulder straps). I think I got the designations right just now. I like
both of them. I like the thin straps a little better, but I have found them to be well made holsters. I think you'll like your Galco Shoulder holster.
I recieved the holster but will be sending it back. I talked to three different reps and even when I ordered the system I stated officer model and they sent me a full size 5". I am going to send it back to LA Police Gear and find another vendor who has people who understand what i ask. They want to charge me 15% restock fee for something their worker caused. plus the 50.00 I paid for overnight delivery.

I've always had good results ordering things from LAPG. However, I've also had good results with Optics Planet, and have gotten a couple of Galco holster from them, and they generally get stuff to you a bit quicker than LAPG. However, I've never paid for overnight shipping from either of them. I can wait a few days for the $50 in shipping fees!!! I've never been that much in a hurry!

Kimber Custom TLE II
I wanted it over night because I was going to be out for a couple nights and was not going to be where i recieve packages and with it being a 150.00 holster I wanted it before I was to leave the location but all things are cleared up. Spoke with Galco and they confirm holster will fit my weapon with no problems so now to build the holster and put it to good use.So all in all I paid just a little more than what I would have from Galco itself.

I was under the impression that there is only one size option on the miami ckassic holster for 1911's? Could you post the model # when you get the pictures up? My finger has been hovering above the "place order" button fora coupe of days now.

It depends on the weapon you want to carry as to the model number. For example you order a holster for a Colt Officer barrel 3.50 holster comes says colt 5'' gun will still fit no problems. I am wearing it as I type this and love it so far. Might invest in tie downs for holster placement issues.

Used this system for years, with a full size Colt Series 70 1911, and now I carry a Kimber Ultra Raptor in it. When I first purchased it, the company was Jackass Leather if memory serves me. I bought the brown leather, with the double magazine carrier on the off side back then. A couple of years ago I bought a new harness and the updated magazine carriers, (horizontal vs the original vertical). I purchased the harness in black, and then added my brown holster, and new mag carrier. I've found that the black harness isn't as noticeable should my jacket or vest slip, while wearing a black tee shirt, as it was with the brown harness. Brown on black being more obvious than black on black. I use this carry system a lot when riding my Harley and find it to be very comfortable, for 8-10 hours at a time.

Your correct it was jackass leather back then. I have noticed the holster does move around a little under by shirt. I just reach back and readjust it. So with that being said I have yet to use the tie downs but I just might do it and then get back to you with a review overall.

I've always wanted that style of holster. I've heard most people say that they're useless. But from what you all say it doesn't sound bad at all!! only problem I have is that i'm in a mostly hot climate so i only have like maybe 2 months tops during the year I'd be able to wear a jacket or something over that. is it worth the money for me?
I use it year round under a button down shirt
