About a month ago I walked into Top Dollar Pawn down there in Durant, just to look at the steel behind the display counter. I hadn't been there in months and so I just swung by to look, not buy. I saw it, I was reaching for the credit card before the words came out of my mouth. A Taurus Raging Bull .44 magnum. 8 and 3/8s inch stainless steel, full length ribbed and underlugged, V-8 factory porting at the expansion chamber, it had that ultra futuristic look to it - I bought it with the credit card, immediately.images (1).jpgdownload.jpg So I needed gun leather - real bad, too. So I went on line and literally searched for hours, and was enthralled with the cowboy hip leather, but nearly all of the bigger holsters were for single actions. I searched for hours. I was imputing the order online so fast I just, I just...

Very Nice! That's cool-as-all-get-out. I fantasize about obtaining a Dan Wesson 744 with 8 inch barrel and putting it in one of these rigs. My brother wouldn't be able stand me then, or anyone else.

Yeh! This is the best way to wear a really big piece of steel. You can drive the pickup truck, or the boat, wade out into the water - no problem, GI!

This rig is very comfortable, I have worn it with my steel in it practically all day when the novelty of it was still irresistible. It is so comfortable, no problem to make incremental adjustments, or hike it this way or that.006.jpgSleeping with it on in the sleeping bag is no problem either. It's really comfortable.005.jpgUnfortunately (or fortunately!) I could find no other holster listed specifically for this particular big bore DA. images (2).jpgCheck out that V-8, man.images (3).jpg

I did make the holster. Gave it to my son as a gift.
