    Inserting a Remora holster

Since the Remora works by sticking to your side/pants, and is sticky enough to remain in place while a gun is drawn, how difficult are they to insert into your IWB or pocket to begin with?

I bought an Uncle Mike's IWB holster many years ago for my Glock 19, and never cared for it at all. Difficult to insert, plastic clip is useless.

I just got one for my M&P 9c last week. Since it is my first IWB holster I don't really have a point of reference but I don't think it is too difficult to insert or remove. A little tough to push or pull into the right spot if you want to adjust placement but nothing I would consider a deal breaker.

So far I really like it but I still want to get a nice leather OWB holster for the M&P but I also want to get another Remora for my LCR.

For IWB, you will most likely have to loosen your belt to get the holster in place, then tighten your belt and off you go. As far as getting it in a pocket, it's nothing too challenging.

You put the Remora on BEFORE you either tighten your belt or your drawstring and before you button that last top button that secures your pants. Why this has to be answered is beyond me.

Have both the Remora (tuckable) for summer and dress up and a Sticky for cooler weather with a jacket or vest for my LC9. Absolutely love them both Have not tried all IWB holsters (yet !!) but of the ones I have these are the most comfortable by far IMO.....once in place they stay in place and extraction is both quick and easy. For IWB carry Would be difficult to convince me of anything better.

I've got about 8 Remoras, think the first was for a Kahr PM9 and got it into my front jeans pocket with no trouble, but had to drop pants to get the darn thing out. While it wouldn't have come out with the gun, re-holstering would've been tough.....

Because I have had other quality IWB leather holsters with metal clips that could be inserted easily AFTER a belt had been tightened or AFTER that last button was buttoned that secures my pants. It was a simple question, a simple answer would have sufficed. Feeling the need for sarcasm is beyond me.

You should see his house. The floor actually moves. When you get into his car he will tell you if something moves, just step on it.
PS: Sorry for sarcasm Bama--not meant that way. The nature of the holster seems quite clear and any due diligence with the Remora videos clearly shows everything that needs to be said about it.

I bought and received my Remora holster just a few weeks ago, after getting it I gave my NEW uncle mikes holsters to the kids down the street for their Nerf guns (about all they are good for IMHO)
7 out of ten times presenting my LCP from the Pocket drew the weapon AND holster, and 2 or the three times I was able to draw clean the holster dropped to the floor at the rage after it cleared the pocket before it cleared the pistol.
So thats a 1 out of ten draw clean here. No Thanks..
My remora has drawn 50 out of a box of 50 rounds, CLEAN, TWICE! 50 from pocket, 50 from IWB
Wife: Why do want to carry a gun all the time everywhere we go?
Me: To protect you and the kids, keep myself safe, protect others if needed, and to express my love of my Constitutional Rights.
    Wife: Awwwwww OK <3

I have several Remoras and carry them IWB, pocket and even in my sock. They are not truly "sticky;" the fabric just has a very high coeficient of friction and it tends to 'grip' cloth fabiric that it touches. You will find it difficult to 'slide' the holster into position (this is a positive feature); you need to 'place' it in position and then tighten the belt, draw string or elastic around it. Once you install it in position it is remarkably stable and VERY comfortable. Draw is easy since the fabric does not grip metal or polymer surfaces readily. The down side is that re-holstering can be dificult unless the opening is reinforced and you must be very careful using the toilet. In the later case, you have to grab the holster as you loosen your belt and ease things down so you don't drop the holstered gun or tip it out of the holster.

The price for the Remora is very reasonable and the customer service is extraordinary. Try it, you'll like it....

You'll be pleased with how the Remora performs

The Remora is the way to go. I have two, one for a Taurus Slim and the other for a Beretta Nano. I really like using the Remora for IWB on my right hip. It is amazingly comfortable, even with a seatbelt. I'm a big guy and most IWB holsters are limited as to where you can place them, but not the Remora. It sits still where I place it and stays there all day. If I have pants or shorts without a belt, the holster will still be good to go as long as the shorts have a drawstring and the pants aren't a size too big.

Most of the clothing I wear doesn't look right with pocket carry, but the Remora still hides the weapon from view. The times I have carried in my pocket, the holster has stayed put when the weapon is drawn.

My remora was great, only problem I have misplaced it and can't find it....
The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.
