I prefer to carry a S&W M&P 9c with an OWB holster, but I am not allowed to conceal carry at work. So at work I carry a S&W 637 38 Special in a Galco holster in the appendix position. I have carried at work for several months using this system and nobody is the wiser. I have an office job, but I am in and out of the warehouse all day so I am allowed to wear t-shirts, and I have no problems concealing my weapon.
My current appendix holster is a Galco Triton. It works but it's not perfect for me. I seriously thinking about G-Code Incognito Appendix system.
Garrett Industries Silent Thunder Slim. I have three for aiwb.
Silent thunder holsters are pretty amazing. I have the regular silent thunder which I wear appendix, or 9 o clock, or 8 o clock (left hand) and works great. Since it has adjustable cant and height it's super versatile and very easy to find that sweet spot. Highly recommend, won't be disappointed.
I currently am running a Blade-Tech nano and it works well for a mid-range holster. It's stable and has good adjustable retention. I am also looking for an upgrade though. So in the meantime I'll continue to carry with the nano. I'm carrying a glock 23 btw.
My current EDC is my Shield 9mm in a Kydex Holsters, Triad Holsters LLC Zeus......I am very pleased with this holster and the price was right!
I use a garret silent thunder, the G-Code Incog looks pretty nice too.
I like adjustable clips/loops that way I can adjust it as high as possible and add cant if I wanna go back to 5 o'clock.
Been trying AIWB now for awhile, several different holsters but none so far have suited me.
On a whim, I decided to try a MIC trigger guard and it was the one for me.
I then combined the MIC with a Clip Draw to try but didn't like it as the pistol was setting too low to get a fast grip. I tied the lanyard for the MIC shorter, removed the Clip Draw and hit the sweet spot for me.
I then tried a Vanguard 2 and with the belt loop but decided the lanyard alone tied shorter suited me better just as it did on the MIC.
The only problem with the Vanguard is the lower point tends to poke my leg in certain positions , so I may cut it off.
I have a blade tech nano I bought just on a whim a while ago. It NO way, shape or how compares to one of the real, kydex holsters made by one of the reputable makers - Dale Fricke, JMcustom, CCC, Garrett industries, ect.
I AIWB carry a FS M&P40 in a Side Guard quick clip.
