    OWB/ Belt - Glock 26; Adams Holster

I picked up a new Glock 26 through the LEO program they have. After a lot of research on here and on google I narrowed it down to two companies for holsters. I ended up going with Adams for a couple of reasons. They are out of Channing, MI; I'm also a MI man. I liked the stitching comparative to what the other company did. I had previously owned a IWB for another pistol and picked up a generic $40 holster when I picked the gun from the dealer. I wanted something different.

Well I emailed Luke, the owner on some questions. Not only did I get a quick response, but he wrote me a "Harry Potter" novel in response before any money even exchanged hands. That says a lot in my book. I ended up ordering their OWB holster and their gun belt in russet. With shipping for both items I paid $188. Lead-time was around 16 weeks. I had emailed Luke about every other month to see if I would expect a longer lead-time. He was very patient with me, I equate the emails to that red rider BB gun type want. I think he knew that too. Well around the 18th week I received tracking info and "I added some complimentary trim for the wait, Merry Christmas." I wasn't bummed to begin with for the wait. Well on 12/22 I heard the the mail women knocking at the door. I ended up getting elephant trim on the holster. I ended up ordering a mag holster about a hour after I got done looking at the belt/holster.

Comparative to what I've owned holster wise, this is the best one to date. It's almost like a work of art all around. The pistol was very snug in the rig. I ended up leaving in the holster all weekend in a plastic bag--per the directions. I equate a lot of this to the cold in transit. The belt was better then anything I could buy on a shelf at a gun store and the quality was far superior then anything I've found at places like Men's Warehouse. It's a belt I plan on wearing every day in a business type work environment. He is making me another belt, strictly due to it not being long enough for my liking and if I had a mag holder on it I'd be on my last hole. I offered to pay shipping both ways, he wouldn't let me. He actually called me and he said he had no problems with making another and that he'd make a belt up in the next week or so. I could use it until the belt was finished. I didn't have one ounce of being disgruntled in me with everything. My overall experience with Adams Holster is one I wish many bigger businesses took a page out Luke's handbook on how to handle customers. I felt important, I had great/timely communication from Luke and the quality of product I received for money; I honestly felt as if I was taking food out their mouths with the quality I received in return for the money I paid. I'll put my name behind this company every day of the week.

I am no photographer either the stitching on the belt isn't crooked. Give them a look if your in the market.

Congrats on the 26. I love mine. The only thing I wish I could change is that the slide is hard to grip when my hands are sweaty. I found that out in my concealed carry course last summer. It was about 98 all afternoon and we were in the sun most of the time - wow.

I love it so far. I went from a service model XDM 9mm to this. I loved that pistol too. I changed my grip on the slide too.
