The Perfect Kydex IWB Holster
Awhile ago, I put up a post asking if any custom holster makers out there could make something special for my DeltaPoint-equipped Glock 17.. After corresponding with a few respondees, Mark at Midworld Gun Leather told me he would like to take a run at making one for me. I received the finished product yesterday, and it is EXACTLY what I had hoped for, and more. I could not be happier. It rides low, tight against the body and is contoured to provide maximum comfort and concealability while wearing. The DeltaPoint rides 1/16" above my trouser inseam while the 20-degree forward cant hides the grip end while providing secure grip and a very fast draw from concealment. midworld 17 holster 009.JPGmidworld 17 holster 007.JPGmidworld 17 holster 001.JPGmidworld 17 holster 004.JPGmidworld 17 holster 011.JPG

Happy for you, and happy for Mark that his good product could get the spotlight here. Great start for the new year for both of you!

I like that does it ride so low that it is uncomfortable when you sit?

Just the opposite. Ones that ride high tend to shove the top of the slide against my ribs when I sit. This (and in my mind any acceptable) holster provides a comfortable carry for me, regardless of position.

What is that shoved down the front of your pants? Is it the pattern on your shirt?

Nothing shoved down my pants, honest. The shirt is an A-shirt, which I always wear between gun and skin.

Maybe BadHabit is referring to the TDI mounted in appendix position?

I guess it could be misconstrued as something shoved down the front of my pants.

Meant to add, nice rig. Looks like it'll ride the river, so to speak.

Thanks. Many holsters, belts, sheaths and dollars later, the evolution of my edc set-up has arrived at the place I have been looking for all along.

Hey, Mark. Thank you for a perfect holster. I didn't mention earlier that it also effectively and comfortably conceals a Glock 17 with a full-sized grip for me. That is a lot of gun to hide. It works for me so well, I hope you incorporate it into your product line-up.

After your feedback on this holster, I might have to make one for myself and use it for a while and look into making it a regular product.
Edited to add:
I have to say that Glock with the red dot and tall sights is SICK!
Giving me some pistol envy.
