Leather or Hybrid holster?

I'm in need of a new holster for my most recent gun purchase. I hate to say the word but I am on a ( budget ) this time. Between the cost of the gun and ordering Triji HD's the money is just not there. I actually had to sell some guns and other things to fund the new project. I'm trying to stay around $100.00 or so for both (holster and mag pouch), I know that's very low so that's why i'm asking here for ideas or suggestions. Does anyone know of decent leather for that price? If not how about a hybrid which if I'm correct that would be a leather/kydex combination. Also if I do have to go with a Hybrid what are your thoughts on them in general? Will the wear be worse on the frame than leather? I did find a sponsor that peaked my interest White Hat. They make a OWB holster (which I prefer) with the leather/kydex combination. Does anyone here on the forum own one of their holsters and what do you think about them? If it makes a difference it's for a G19 . Thanks for any input on this.

From what I have seen, 100.00 won't buy a decent leather on. A hybrid is less expensive than leather.

A $100 won't buy a decent leather holster? Well, not one made of albino python & lined with yeti scrotum. But you can bet your boots (even Lucchese Boots) that you can buy a perfectly functional leather holster for $100. The Milt Sparks Summer Special II comes immediately to mind.

I'm very, very happy with the iwb kydex Mark at Midworld Gunleather made for the 19L shown in my avatar. It is as comfortable and effective as anything I have ever used. Unless iwb is completely out of the question, I would recommend it.

Why be a leather snob; Galco and Aker and DeSantis, for example, can suit you up nicely within your budget. No need for a "boutique" maker in your situation (though I've lately been finding and buying such, on eBay, and within your budget).

Kydex is nice, but leather lasts a loooooooooooot longer and is much more comfortable.

Under a $100 for a leather holster?

Almost all of my holsters were under $100, not all but most.

Bought one of Dustin's holsters for $40 and love it. Much faster than the leather . Comfortable to wear. My EDC is a Glock 27 in this holster.
