    Remora fitment question

Can someone please look at this fitment chart and tell me why the Springfield XD 40 service/9mm/45 are listed as 4.5 barrel and there's an XD C showing to be 4"?

I know i'm missing something here. As far as i know the original XD-40, 9 etc. are 4" service models. Tried contacting Remora last week via their website and never got a reply. I'm assuming it's going to be an 11 but it lists the 4" as a size 10.

Yep, the best thing when not sure is to contact them directly. I always contacted them via the email listed on their website and it has never been a problem for me but it may be that they are getting a lot of business these days which can make it difficult to respond quickly to everyone. I've had nothing but good interactions with Allan.

Alan at Remora is one of the easiest guys in the world to talk to, he'll help you with it.

Yeah I would guess that you'd need a series #11 being that's what's listed for the XD-40 Service model but I would call to make sure since it does say 4.5" barrel probably just a misprint. I would email Alan the owner directly at alan.remora@yahoo.com or call and ask for him he is a great guy to deal with, as well as the rest of the crew at Remora but I try to do all my dealings with Alan directly.

I always take the guns I want to get a new holster for at the local gun show. I try before I buy. Makes for some easy buys both online and at the show.

Same here. It's the best way to gaurantee the perfect fit, etc. Plus it helps to elinmate the need to return something.

Thanks for the replies, guys. After talking with a few members here, and the fact that i could paypal one on ebay, i went with the Sticky brand.

Got a quick response from the guys over there and they have two different models for the full size 4" pistol, including a smaller, low cut version for rear of the hip carry so it seemed perfect for my needs.

Not receiving a response and then getting a recording during advertised business hours cost Remora a for sure sale. Oh, well, you win some and you lose some. Coming from a customer service background i probably tend to get irked a bit easier than your average person.
