I need two gun belts. They are mainly for casual carry (jeans & t-shirt or khaki pants and polo). I would like a brown and black belt. Now the question: which of you holsters makers out there make belts? I am fairly poor, so my price range is limited, but still would like a decent belt (I'm asking for a lot I know). Any holsters makers are welcome to plug your wares, and anyone with any suggestions are also welcome.
i can't yet speak from experience, though i'm thinking of ordering one from him - I've heard many raves about "the belt man", just googled the phrase and came across the website: http://www.thebeltman.net
I have a 1.5" belt tapered to 1.25" and it is great and Jim is a good guy to deal with. It is right in the middle of the price range for this stuff and will serve your tactical and financial needs very well. So go ahead, call him now and get on his schedule and beat the holiday rush!
The belt man makes great belts but there are cheaper alternatives. I went with him twice because I need velcro on them. In another post I had a link to a place selling the Aker belts for $36. The place is called cop quest. A google search for aker belts will probably bring up more places.
Just got an akers B-21 belt today..it's a world of difference carrying my glock 30 in ctac holster..ordered from www.galls.com..good belt for the price
I purchased a belt from Rafter's and I could not be happier with it. The craftsmanship is top-nothch, the price was very fair, the customer service was great, and it was delivered relatively quickly. I highly recommend them.
I’ve owned and have used belts from Sparks, Bulman, Rosen, etc. but the best and certainly my favorites are from Lou Alessi.
There are gun belts and then there are Lou’s belts.
