Nate makes good stuff, everything I have seen here and on his site is great.
Ranger Gunleather
If light rails were needed on handguns John Browning would have included it on the 1911.

I was trying it out when I went to the store and it was VERY comfortable. The only thing I may do is try to attach a piece to the body shield and extend it up where it's between me and the hammer, but other than that it's very comfortable.

Yep, I'll know to do that next time. I just thought it would cover it.

How easy is it to reholster the weapon seeing as how the mouth is not reinforced?

I'm not trying to say the don't all come like that, but it's the first holster I ever had made or even had with a body guard so I'm just finding out. I'm just going to 1911's so it was never important before, never cared about a body shield without an exposed hammer. Not a big deal, I can get it fixed up at the local cobbler shop.

Not a problem, it's stiff really thick leather. I used to have a stiff galco without a reinforced mouth for my sigma f4 (hides face, yes I got one when they came out way back there, but sold it a few months ago) and never had a problem with that for a number of years. The don hume I have has a reinforced mouth, but the leather on this holster is much thicker.
