Bud's about covered that! But indeed the custom makers are almost to a man having to make times of many weeks - no way they can keep up with orders.

Only answer usually is, IMO - to buy best you can find ''off the shelf'' and put in an order for the special luxury rig soon as you can. Then wait patiently!

    Desbiens Gunleather

Hello, I am very new to this forum, but from here I already found a great holster maker who happens to live in the same town as I do!!!

He is Rhome on here, his company is Desbiens Gunleather....I don't want to quote a wait time, but I believe it is considerably less than most others. I am VERY pleased with the IWB I bought from him a few days ago, top notch gear in my opinion.

    Rhome does great leather.....

Lead times depend on the maker, what is ordered and a plethora of other goodies.......

If light rails were needed on handguns John Browning would have included it on the 1911.

I ordered a IWB from Tucker on 9/28. I'm expecting it this week or next. They are saying 3-4 on their website IIRC.

    Rhome,

Thanks, that is really fast...Look forward to seeing it.

BTW, with your IWB...I had someone ask me today why I wasn't carrying my pistol...Even that huge Para 16-40 disappears with that IWB, the Kimber will conceal even better...

    Thanks.

LOL, the "new" guys will soon be covered up also. Better get them while you can. Rhome will soon have Swifty, and Mrs.D out there taking orders and stuff. Greg , and Jarhead will soon start feeling their hands cramp from boning. You guys just keep on posting pictures and teasing us. It's going to catch up with yall soon. lol Every time I see what you guys post I want to reach for the phone. ( Guess I have a bit of leather fetish )
