Nice work. Now I have to go look in my vehicles to see where I can mount up something like that.

If it works for you, great. Just hope you never forget it.

I'd rather keep mine on my person.

Is that covered by your CCL?

In Michigan if it's in the vehicle it's considered concealed. There is no prescribed manner in which to carry your pistol in your vehicle with a CPL. Although I would use discretion like when dealing with jittery LEO on traffic stops and at fast food stops. But to answer your questions in my State there are no laws against this method of carry that I'm aware of, somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll hopefully never forget it, I still have my holster on my waist so the feeling of it being empty is a reminder. I just like the idea of being able to quickly access it, rather than have to dig it out from my holster while sitting down not to mention it's buried under my seat belt. My LEO buddy who is also an NRA instructor recommended to everyone in his classes and I to have your firearm ready and quickly accessible, whether that means wedged in between the seats, under your leg, on the passenger seat or whatever works for you it needs to be able to be quickly deployed. He speaks from personal experience. To each their own take it for what it's worth but I would highly suggest developing a means of quick access.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing. (God forbid) You don't want a thief to look and see the holster then try to gain entry to the vehicle searching for the gun.
