I like it, looks like the perfect placement. I am pretty lucky I have a split bench in my pickup so I just stick my Taurus 66 6" in between the seats and its nice and snug. It has road down many a backroads tucked in there.

I have split bench seats in my F350, I use an Uncle Mike's nylon holster shoved between the driver's seat and center seat and clipped to the seat-belt to hold in place.
Nice set up for buckets..

I think I'd bust out a can of flat black spray paint on it. I like the mount job but it's way too noticeable.

Yup I was thinking the same thing, I'm going to hit it with Rustoleum the holster and the grommets and screws it'll be a much more discreet look.

Nice setup. I'm jealous of the room that you have. The only sensible mounting position that I have in my truck is underneath the steering wheel.
