    Tucker Answer came in .....

And all I can say is....wow.

This is the most comfortable, versatile, and concealing IWB holster that I have ever put on my waist.

The level of craftmanship is astounding, and it was a very high quality product, at a very reasonable price. I can 110% recommend Tucker Gunleather based on this product, and my experiance with it.

Im putting it on tonight, and goin out to eat, and this time I get to bring all 14 of my .45ACP "friends" with me. I have a feeling that my pocket pistols are going to be collecting more and more dust now that the fullsize feels this good.

I will post some pictures as soon as my fiance brings my camera back to me.

I sort of prefer all leather and OWB when I carry at the waist but, a highly respected local friend of mine is carrying in The Answer and he is raving about it.
Everything I've read about it has been positive.
I don't know if I could go back to IWB carry though. I'm too set in my ways.

Ive got the crossbreed, and the Answer now. I had carried in the Crossbreed for over a year, and it is a fine holster. The answer is just more refined, smaller, and more comfortable to me while sitting. Absolutely nothing wrong with the crossbreed, and I will still use it, but the Tucker is my new favorite.

THe only thing I am not fond of on the Crossbreed, and therefore the Answer, is the exposed muzzle. I have several pairs of pants with a hole worn through inside the right rear pocket from the muzzle/frame of my 5" 1911.

Im glad you like your Answer....fine pc of equipment.

The open muzzle thing can be problem...wearing a hole in your pants is problematic and expensive.

What I dont like about the open muzzle/short holsters is getting pinched by the muzzle....it just hurts!

    Shoot well and god bless

No I dont mind at all.

Im carrying my XD .40 and .45 service's in the Answer. Ive got a pretty athletic build, think Defensive lineman build. I wear a 54 long dress coat, and 35 inch waist if that helps you picture it. 6'2'' 234lbs.

Heres some pictures that may help out.

My Answer came last week and I am delighted at the comfortable IWB carry for my 40 cal. Glock 23 that it provides. I work in a gun free office, so the gun is in the car during the day, but I like to keep the emply holster on the belt because it can be hard to put on again while seated in the car at the end of the day. The Answer and it's leather sweatshield is even comfortable when empty, something I can't say about the CompTack C.T.A.C. in which I carried a 9 mm Kel-Tec P11 until recently. That holster is just as comfortable as the Answer when carrying the gun, but the stiff kydex sweatshield pokes into my side and wears a raw spot when no gun is present.

I think your comment is an interesting one. I haven't heard this from customers after years of making the Answer this way, but I could see that it would be possible with a 5" much more than a shorter 1911.

Anyone else with this problem, just let me know. I suspect that several factors come together to produce similar wear on the fabric. I've never had it happen to me, but I don't wear the same pants more than once a week. If you have a favorite pair of jeans and wear them every day, it would be more likely.

Always glad to know how our holsters are working in the field.
    Rob
