That's a great holster. I carried a Kahr P9 in one until I sold the gun. Hope I like the SSII as well.

Have one for my Colt OM..outstanding holster. I'll second the idea of a quality belt to go along with this rig.

Out of the many iterations of this holster on the market I have owned and used, the MSSSII is the finest. I carry AIWB mostly, but with a 1911 I prefer 4/4:30 with a Summer Special II.

I disagree with this statement. Galco's copy of the design is not the same. Neither is El Paso's, of which I also own. Will they carry your pistol? Sure, but not the same none the less. Even a custom Kramer, which I own is not up to the same standard and is much more expensive. The quality of the Summer Special II is worth the money. Galco sells Summer Comfort for $74.95, SSII sells for $99 regularly, but are frequently on sale for $80 or so.

I am pretty sure that the SS2 that I bought from Brownell's is made of Cowhide & not the Horsehide holster.?

You are correct. Only way to get horsehide is to order direct from Sparks or get one used off the internet.

I use a ss with my sp101 or my s&wmod 60
