Recommended belts for everyday carry
Currently I carry my G27 in a Galco slide scabbard with my Carhart leather belt. Not a poor quality piece of leather, the belt is 1 1/2\" wide. Since my Glock has been hanging on this belt I find myself adjusting all the time. Geting out of the car, after walking for a while, after being seated. I feel the need to crank the belt even tighter around my waist.
I am about to drill a second extra hole into this belt with the hopes that my rig does not sag as much.
1. Anyone have experience good or bad with the Wilderness Tactical instructor belts for everyday carry?
2. Any other belt recommendations?
3. And lastly, how tight do you keep your belt?
Thanx,
Gunzer;)

Regarding the Wilderness belt, I understand there is a long strip of Velcro. This feature is what turns me off. Often times I go to bed after my wife. Peeling off that velcro portion of the belt will wake her up.
Any other suggestions?

Another vote for the Wilderness belt, as for the velcro waking your wife, just disengage the top strap slowly.:)

Sparks, Baker, Alessi, Null, Bianchi, and Wilderness are some of the belts I use. Different belt loops on the pants and holsters, different color belt, determine what is used.

I have a three Wilderness belts. They are great.
Two are 5 stitch, and one is a 3 stitch. The three is fine, as I feel it is stiff enough for CCW, and use it often. The 5 stitch is the most you will need for everyday comfort.
One of my Wilderness belts had the Velcro rip off. I don\'t miss it. I wear this particular one everyday.
So, you can always alter your belt, and remove that small strip of velcro.
I always talk about how much cooler these belts are than leather. They are thinner, just as stiff, quite, infinate adjustable.
I really like these belts.....cause they hold my pants up

I have a fairly wide belt from Eddie Bauer, and it works pretty well. I think though a Wilderness Instructor belt is in my future though, as I think a more sturdy belt is a good idea since I carry a spare mag carrier, Gerber, and the pistol.

Absolutely, you won\'t go wrong with a Wilderness 5 stitch. I love mine. Now I want one in the Coyote Brown color. :kay:

So? Your were going to wake her up anyway, right?:D
I have two Wilderness belts: one on is the CSM, the other is the 3-stitch. I find the 3-stitch much easier to thread through the slots and loops of holsters and mag/flashlight pouches. Though they\'re not appropriate for business wear, they\'re great with jeans, and the adjustability with the velcro is particularly nice after the all-you-can-eat buffet.

I am looking for a differnt leather belt than the cheesy one I have now. The Wilderness is probably more in my price range.
