    Carry Options & Holster Choices

First post here. Just wanted to gather some input on carry options and holster choices for my Sig P238. Some useful info on application:

    1) I prefer side or kidney carry with a forward cant (side carry widens my profile in most shirts)
    2) Highly prefer IWB due to choices in clothing (shirts are slightly form-fitting)
    3) Casual (jeans/shorts/t-shirt) wear
    4) I'm not a huge guy (6'3", 220 lbs) but at my age the love handles are encroaching, so comfort is important
    5) I live in Texas, so heat during the most of the year is a factor, although with good concealability I don't object to an undershirt

Any and all feedback is very much appreciated!

Give these guys a look Concealed Handgun Holsters and Holster Parts & Accessories - White Hat they are in Texas also and make a great product. You can choose different leathers, graphics for the kydex piece, and the kydex is removable so you can use different pistols on the same leather base to save money.

Welcome to the forum. You are going to receive many, many recommendations for all different types of holsters. The worst part is that all of them are going to be for great holsters and you are going to have to pick and choose. I recommend the IWB holster from SHTF Gear.

What degree cant are you looking for?

Our holsters come with a 15 degree forward cant (by using the clips in the same screw position) and are adjustable from 0 degrees to 30 degree forward cant.

    Thanks!

I'm sorry if that post frustrated you, however it is a relevant response to the question and this forum is able to operate because of paid forum sponsorships and advertising.

    Thanks,

Good to know, well keep us in mind if you are looking to pick up another holster. It might work well for you. (and if you don't like it, you can return it within 30 days for a refund).

    Thanks,

I wear a belly band because its comfortable, only time it sucks is when I eat BBQ here in Texas its just so good I get full. But I do sweat so I had my wife sew some vinyl material she had from her stash. The entire belly band can get sweaty and not reach my gun. If someone made a belly with a plastic or leather covering behind the gun like my.wife made me, they would be up to something good.
