    Gun Rug

I'm looking for a gun rug that I saw once, but didn't catch the maker of.

From the outside, it looks like a day planner, but the inside it has a pocket for a pistol and some magazines. There are no handles on this.

It is not the Dillon Plan B or the Galco Hidden Agenda, I know that much.

On the inside it looks more like the Blackhawk Discreet Socom, but again without the handles.

Most of the nylon gun cases for pistols are too obvious.

    Any thoughts?

    I Would Get Nervous...

about using a 'day planner' to hide a weapon...a holster, on the body, seems much safer...and more readily available.
I would really worry about laying the planner down for just a moment and get distracted...then forget it.
It is always noted that guns in purses can always be separated from the 'owner' much easier than if the 'owner' is wearing the weapon.

    OMHO...

    Stay alert...stay safe...

Thanks, the one on the CCW site is close.

The one I saw was cordura on the outside and only acted as a gun rug - no notebooks or other items inside.

There is a pic I have seen on the web of a cordura planner that is actually a planner that the owner sewed some straps in to hold his gun.

I agree 100%. This is something I want for transport purposes, not carry purposes.

I would like to get out of the car with it and not have it scream "GUN OWNER!!!!"

I think those with the handles look to much like gun rugs. Perhaps many people out there would not know that, but I would like something more discrete.

Try Bagmaster. Especially under Rectangular Pistol Pouches, Auto Pistol Pouches, and Pistol Cases.

It's got to hold the magazine(s) and the weapon from sliding around. The one on this site just has them loose together.

People carry as it suits them and their lifestyle...having a gun in a planner or purse is much better than no gun at all...

(Please, don't respond with that tired old warning about how someone could take their gun away and use it against them...if you do, kindly provide the link to such a story.)

It's similar, but the one I saw was cordura not leather. I prefer the strength of the cordura.
