So I just found "Defensive Carry" yesterday at 5pm. After reading for 5 hours last night and a couple today I've already spent $140. I've found so much good info about holsters that will help me with my problems of CCing.
I bought just now:
1- N82 Tactical Pro holster for my Glock 19
2- Remora with full sweat shield for my Glock 19
3- Remora for my Sig P290
Not sure if I should have got the reinforced top on the Remora for the Glock. What do you think?
Oh - nobody tell my wife. She says she doesn't care but I know what really means.
LOL, welcome to the forum!
NEVER point a gun at something you are not prepared to destroy!
AND for GODS sake, get your finger off the trigger until you are ready to squeeze the trigger!
The reinforced top is really more of an aid to holstering. If you are not in any hurry to holster your gun (and you really shouldn't be), you can do nicely with the non-RFT model. It actually makes it stick out a little more because it pushes the opening out. I've had both. I prefer the non-RFT for most applications. (In fact, got a non-RFT Remora coming to me for my SR1911 and should be here this week.)

Yup. I've also found that coming here to request that someone talk me out of a buying a gun that I really don't need doesn't work very well either.
'Clinging to my guns and religion
You have gotten off cheap so far. I have spent over 50 times that since I have joined. Good thing I am not married.
Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse or Rapture....whichever comes first.
You're worried about a measly $140 bucks? Just wait there buckaroo 'till you get the itch to fill out the gun cabinet with some nice older metal. Then you really don't want anybody telling the wifey. She just might use one of those new acquisitions on you. Just kiddin.

Welcome from Wisconsin> it may save you money ( many of us have a drawer full of holsters) I have made contacts with members and purchased and sold items and it could save your life. Lots of good information on the site.( as with any thing else on the internet there is a small % of BS but very small here)
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
Only $140 that's chump change...the worst is yet to come.

I Love Guns!!!
I thought the same way until I started browsing at AR15.com. Now that got expensive!
I'd rather be lucky than good any day
There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
