New SP101 OWB by Hays Holsters

Well I decided I needed a new holster for my Ruger SP101 and turned again to Jeff at Hays Holsters. I ordered one of his standard pancake holsters and it is again fantastic. The holster came with a slight curve to the belt loops which allowed it to immediately fit my waist. From the beginning the draw of the holster was perfect. Not bench vise tight like some holsters but a perfectly smooth draw. Turned upside down the holster passes the "shake" test. I really like the tabs that Jeff added near the hammer. It really helps to conceal as the shirt is not allowed to tug against the hammer. The butt of the gun pulls in very tight, as you can see in the pictures below. I'm again more than satisifed in the holster and the turn time (less than 2 weeks.) The price is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and check out Hays Holsters if you are looking for a new OWB, Hays Holsters.

The gun really does pull tight, I tucked my shirt between the gun for the pictures so you could see how well it rides....that and I didn't want to show off my Minnesota winter white glow. :) Enjoy!

It looks great. Is it suede-lined?

Nice looking rig. Will it conceal well under a tee shirt?

Easily. I wore it under a t-shirt all last weekend and my wife's parents couldn't tell.

For reference the shirt in the picture is a tighter fitting long sleeve shirt.

Jeff Hayes makes great holsters. I have a couple of his holsters for my sixes.

I was just talking to Jeff he told me to check this thread out.I have a sp101 and cant find a holster I'm happy with but after seeing the pics I want one of his. Looks like it brings the grip nice and tight that's what I'm looking for.

Very nice! I checked out his site, he seems to have some nice quality stuff. I like the two tone holsters.

Looking at the Hay's Holster site, I spotted the leather .357/.38 speed loader pouch...looked interesting...it looks like an 'unsnap and the holder falls out' pouch.
I'm going to send an email and ask a bit about it...thanks for the post.:hans9:
