    Hey Mark:
I just had to let you know that I showed the photo of your designer denim womenís holster (DDWH ?) to my daughters and they thought it was pretty neat. While I would never want something like that personally (I just like plain old leather) I think youíre going to be inundated by orders from women and some guys too for fabric covered holsters. I sure hope you like making them because Iím going to be giving people who want one your phone number . If youíre not too thrilled about building them youíre sure going to be kicking yourself for posting the pictures!

Yep, you've opened up a can of worms now. That is a very nice holster, and something that lots of women will like. Now if you could come up with a matching handbag.

    Mark,

You have outdone yourself on that one!!! She should be one happy lady.

All she needs to go with that holster is one of those denim Jeeps that came out in the 70's with the denim interiors........

    Thanks for the compliments, folks!

The factor of the holster blending with jeans during an accidental was discussed by the customer and me. I didn't mention it the initial post; wanted to see if you guys would pick up on it. Most of her wardrobe is short waisted denim and leather jackets with faded blue jeans so this was a concern.

This has gotten a greater reception than I ever anticipated.
Matt, you're right. I think I'll need to find a source for denim; I may run out of old jeans to cut up.

And yes, the pistol is a SIg P239 .40

    Think about the potential...

a high quality holster to match the various camoflage patterns that I use when hunting...

a team sports logo....something like the Arkansas Razorbacks...
    but not limited to Universitys

    a company logo...

    A military unit designation...

    A police unit designation...

a dress holster to match your slacks...

a day holster to match your jeans or Dockers in various colors...

    yep...LOTS of potential there....

    Nice job on the holster.

    What's next? Paisley?

How hard would it be to make one for a Browning Mark III? I think my wife would like it.

Hell, Nylon covered leather to match the Wilderness/5.11 tactical look.

Mark, I drool over your stuff every other day.

I'll be in big trouble when you can make stuff for the Steyr MA1

My girlfriend would love that one since she didn't like the fact that I told she couldn't pick a gun solely based on "prettiness".

Personally a think a nice hot mustard plaid would be perfect for those retro 70's dance nights!

The concealment/blending in issue is very cool......a black holster against jeans is a bust.....a jeans holster against jeans is NOT!...nice.

Maybe a canvas or fire hose theme? Could scorch (fire dept./maltese cross) or stencil (military) in a logo.
