Can't Get Comfortable - Very Frustrated
When I wear my Hybrid IWB, the holster is fine, but the Butt of my gun (M&P Shield) with Talon rubberized grip, irritates the hell out of my back or side or anywhere I try to wear it.
Anybody else have this problem? How do you resolve?
FYI > I'm in Houston and don't wear t-shirts under my shirt.

I find rubbery grips great for the range, but terrible for concealed carry, as they also tend to grab your shirt.
It's why none of my carry guns have a rubber grip (I'm not a fan of carrying sharply checkered grips for the same reason).

For this reason I am planning on getting a N82 holster for summer carry. Full covers the grip so there won't be any irritation.

I'm in FL and in short time got very used to wearing a thin tank top under everything, even on our very hottest days. Having a little fabric between the gun and my skin has made all the difference in the world.
Have you adjusted the cant of the holster? A little tip this way or that may help....

I tried the N82 Professional, but it was pretty thick, and it wasn't easy to get my thumb behind the grip for a good purchase out of the holster. I know many people swear by them. Good luck.

I've never had a problem with an out-of-the-box grip, and see no reason to purchase any kind of special grip.
As far as irritating your back and sides, wear an undershirt. It'll fix that.

You may as well tell me to wear a bra. Not gonna happen.

I'm with you, Brother! Don't see myself wearing two shirts in 110% humidity in Houston.

This holster puts leather between you and almost all of the gun. I'm an undershirt guy myself... Just an idea.

Duluth Trading Company "Buck Naked" t shirt always. Whether its under a dress shirt, polo, or even another DTC t shirt.
Have a wicking capability that keeps my cooler than if I wasn't wearing it. About 3 inches longer than regular ts so they stay tucked in....or when out cover very well.

I can't speak to the Duluth product but I will say that I have a champion tshirt that I bought at target a few years ago. When I wear it as an undershirt it actually keeps me cooler. And I've worn it that way in DFW and Vegas and Utah in 110* heat. You might give that a try.

Like others have said, I always wear undershirts so don't have a problem with holster/gun irritating the skin.

WHEC, in your case, you may want to consider the "bro." Seinfeld - The Bro - YouTube
But actually a very nice and thin tank top undershirt is what I wear and I can say that it's worked very well for me in the summer months where it continually hangs above 100 degrees. Of course, we don't have that humidity here but I would have to imagine that it would be worth the comfort that it adds for carrying. It may or may not work for you but for the price that you can purchase these undershirts for I'd say that it's well worth that effort and money rather than buying any more holsters. I'd give it a try and if you don't like it, you're not out much.
