Butterfly knives are prohibited weapons in Texas, You actually carry that thing concealed in public ?
There are no problems in life too large to be handled by the use of small arms and high explosives

In god we trust, all others are suspects

Butterfly knives aren't even prohibited in New York...of course we have no length limit either (outside of the city).
Though we DO have a pesky little vague section about "dangerous knives" which is really a nasty little "toolbox" law.
I've only heard one police officer (NYPD) state that they would charge someone with possing a dangerous knife if they found a balisong.
...but now I'm getting off topic...again

My belt is a wilderness 5 stitch 1.5". I love this belt because for me, it is more comfortable than a thick leather gun belt...and these belts are designed to hold a full load...holster, carriers, radios, whatever....they are incredibly stiff but still fairly thin...I intend to order another one in 1.25" (the frequesnt flyer model)...that one is a 3 stitch and the company rep told my it is plenty stiff also...but for 4 bucks more you can get it in 5 stitch, but not sure it's necessary...if you do a search of wilderness belts here or any other forum, you will find tons of satsified customers..another great thing about them is the velcro lets you cinch it exactly where you need it...you can see them at www.thewilderness.com

    Nice one Jason.

    Q. Does that collapse when drawing the gun?
    Q. Where did you find the mag pouches? Did you direct order that rig? I can't find pouches anywhere.

Hi Jim… The rig absolutely will not collapse with the gun withdrawn. I have been using the PCH since Lou sent me the prototype over two years ago and I have yet to do anything that will make the holster collapse… believe me I’ve tried. You can read my long-term review here… http://www.louderthanwords.us/forum/...pic.php?t=2257

The mag carriers are also from Alessi and I wear them all supported on an Alessi belt, all of which was ordered directly from Lou.

Thanks for the link Jason, I missed that one. Any idea what his turnaround time is? Best to call him direct?

I just asked Lightening arms if they have one is stock. I bought the CQC/S because I thought the PCH was sure to collapse without a metal band in it, but read that the can't is very close to the CQC also which is my favorite holster to date except that it requires a long cover garment.

    The PCH should be perfection.

ORDERED: PCH, 2mag pouches and Belt 11-11-06 (20wk turnaround right now)

Best thing to do is give Lou a call but as I recall he is running about 4 months right now... it may be faster though. I can tell you having worn this rig everyday for both casual and serious concealment the wait is well worth it.
