I have the SS2 for all my carry guns. Great holster.

Also available within a few days from Brownells for the 1911, Commander, Officers ACP, G17/22, G19/23 or G26/27 for $77.00 (or $66.73 if LEO or with C&R FFL).

    Sparks

Unless you're just dead set on Milt Sparks, you could try one of the makers on this forum. HBE leather works(Eric Larson), Gary Brommeland, and Greg Dunn all make excellent holsters of the same high quality as Sparks and I'm pretty sure all three make a variation of the watch six. You could give them a call, who knows, you might get something you like better somewhat faster.

    Sights? What are those?

i only know that many people say the MS holsters are great, worth the $$, and worth the wait.

i found a ws-1 available online. i'll get that and try it. then perhaps i'll order a vm-2 or something similiar from another maker.

i was also looking at the KL Null UNS.

I got one of my Milt Sparks holsters from them as I needed it faster than Tony could make it.
These days I usually always have one holster on order for something I have. If I don't like it when it arrives, I can easily sell it as JimmyC said.
+1 thats what I would do.

Not to confusion you w/ another maker. May want to hop on this offer over at 1911 forum. By doing a search, you can see what others think of Gary's Max-Con. I would not wait too long though. By the way, I am not the seller. Just want to give you a heads up!

Well Im sure youll like your Null...he does some good stuff.

Out of the MS rigs you mention...I TOO prefer the Watch Six...they can call it their budget line or whatever...but I love the comfort and thinness of the non reinforced setup.

    Shoot well and god bless

thanks for all the replies. in the end (next year sometime) i'll have 3 holsters. maybe having all 3 will give me some more flexibilty in choosing/wearing one with different clothing and different times of the year.

Another vote for the Watch Six. It is amazing how my 1911 disappears under a T-shirt with this holster. To me it has two advantages over the VM-II, it is thinner and cheaper.
