    Tall and Skinny IWB Advice

I am 6'5'' and 180 lbs and have had a very tough time finding a comfortable IWB holster.I have owned all of the following:

    Crossbreed Supertuck
    Foxx Little Hybrid
    N82 Pro
    Milt Sparks Summer Special 2
    Remora Holster

And have finally arrived at a Comptac Mtac. I have to say that as far as a perfect fit for tall and skinny goes, the MTAC is the most comfortable holster I have found. It combines the comfort of the hybrid style holster like the crossbreed and the smaller surface area of paddle type holsters. These factors have made it he perfect fit for me, and having searched this forum high and low for skinny IWB recommendations I wanted to let other members know what I have found to be one of the best. If you are tall and skinny like me you owe it to yourself to pick one of these up, you will thank me later.

I wish I had your problem! I need holsters that work well for guys more on the pudgy side! Glad you found something that works for you, though. I've heard nothing but good about that rig.

I haven't met the IWB I love compared to OWB.
Yep, I carry IWB with De-Santis a sof-tuck. It is as comfy as I can find, does the job, conceals well.
I would like to find something that carries a little lower though.

    I'm 6'4", 175 and have 2 MTac's. One for a XDm 9mm and another for S&W Shield. I love them both

I am only 5'11" 169 lbs but I use a middle of the back. I order a inside the waste band left hand holster with no cant. Then I place it in the middle of my back seems I have a perfect hollow spot that allows me to conceal. I have a drawer full of inside the waste band holsters that I tried before I hit on this combination for me. I carry a P239 Sig with comfort while always remembering the famous quote a gun should be comforting not always comfortable.

5'11" at 150lbs. I carry a p229 aiwb. Right now, I have a shtf gear holster but have a CCC shaggy and cane and derby PIC on order to see if they fit the gen1. If not, probably going to talk to raven about an ACR. If that doesn't work, well.... Not many people make a custom fit holster for a gen1 p229......

Small gun..... might be the thickness that is getting to you. If it were a shield or something skinny, like a pps... you would be fine. hmmm

I also own a Kahr CM9 and have found that with the wrong holster it also feels like a brick in my shorts.
