    Nice Rocky

Hey...who was fixing that picture at the same time I was fixing that picture?

Thanks for posting the pic Rocky!
You are making some "superior nice rigs" out of "that there" Kydex stuff these days.

That's a very clean looking holster. Kudos!

No longer a huge Kydex fan but that looks most efficient. Nice job dude.

It sure is darned versatile stuff that's for sure. I imagine if you were so inclined, you could put that stuff over a mould and vacuum form.... with the equipment of course!

I guess I'd personally want another 5 to 10 of cant myself but that's just picky ol me.

Chris..... looking at the picture it seems the belt cutouts are quite long, so you could "cant" your belt to make for a 10-15 deg FBI cant. Might have to put some sort of tab on either side of the slot, so the belt wont ride back up. Blackhawk has that on their CQB Serpa holster, belt attachment model. Looks good though, Rocky.

I have in the past added chicago screws with rubber grommets to adjust the cant. I ran out of scews, but could add em into the design easily enough. However I have found it does not slide , rock or move at all once my belt is fastened. I think the edge of the belt slot actually grabs belt and holds on.

Here is the first holster I made of this type. Note the screws for adjustment. Sorry the pic is so dark.

Bando - simply I have progressed to leather and prefer it for EDC. A comfort deal I guess for most part.

I still have several kydex type rigs and can use them for the range and they do work quite well. I am not against them - just prefer leather.

Nice job. I made one yesturday using a Tek-Loc for the belt retainer. I bassically made this one as practice and will make my keeper out of Concealex with a faux carbob fiber finish. I'll post pics when I make it.

    Rocky...

did you use a 'heat gun?' Looks nice...is the colored kydex expensive?
I have some kydex, but now only use it for pocket holsters. The IWB holsters are a bit more comfortable in leather...I want comfort with my age...

Rocky.... yes, that looks good with the added screws... also, nice Wilderness belt and 5.11 pants. I ordered those from LAPolice for $10 each in digital camo. great pants. need a 5 stitch belt though.
Here in the desert, Kydex is great, due to sweating. Leather gets abit soggy on hot, humid days.
