I like to make my own Kydex holsters. Why I need so many holsters for one G23 I donít know but I enjoy the process. Anyway, I bought a Tek-Loc to hold the holster to my belt instead of making a retainer. Here lies my question and my personal solution. What have some of you done to prevent the screws (I used Chicago screws) from chewing into your gun?
What I did was to cut a slot on the top and bottom of the back side of the holster and then put a piece of Kydex over the screws working the Kydex into the slots to prevent me from having to use rivets or additional screws. It works and you canít notice it from the front but it doesnít look that professionally made.
Any other idea out there?
