    Sneaky Pete

I just ordered a leather Sneaky Pete, with the idea of putting a decal of some sort on the flap such as a red cross or a brand name of some other product so that prying eyes don't think much of it. Has anyone here done that ? I'm old so a red cross could be effective.

I've never found them to be very sneaky, but your idea may make it better. Do a bunch of logos and NASCAR it all up.

No one is going to think much of it even without a logo. That said, I think I'd rather have a plain ole' holster...probably easier to draw from a holster, too.

Funny thing is I thought about that, no one would think of looking inside.

I did put that red cross on my Sneaky Pete and it looks pretty professional (can be seen in another thread). I like the way it feels on the outside and not rubbing anything, plus it is not very hard to draw one handed with. Since I am relatively new at CC I'm wondering if anyone is ever asked whats in the pouch, or am I just being paranoid knowing there is a gun in there. I have carried fanny packs with my pipe and tobacco in until some of my younger friends told me that a fanny pack is not "cool".
So I guess my question is, what do you say to some wise guy who asks what's in the SP ? I'm pretty sure I know what I'd say, but maybe y'all can come up with a less offensive reply.

    If anyone asks, just reply:

    "I have a condition, and it's a medical device."

Your threat condition is either 1, 2 or 3: and the medical device is also a true statement: in case of trouble, someone will need medical attention.

Actually, the sneaky petes look just like insulin pump pouches, but once you mention a medical condidtion, I doubt anyone would be so bold as to press for details. If they do, just say, I prefer to keep that private.

I have a holster that is exactly like a sneaky Pete. I wear it all the time with scrubs because that's the profession I am in. I have never been asked what it was.

The SP logo would be the first thing to go.

I just saw the ad for these. The video shows a LC 9 for demo purposes.
Anyone have experience with something a tad larger like my Glock 27?

They seem more comfy than IWB and hiding in the open is a pretty good concept; at least I think so.

I have seen cases that look similar that were for insulin pumps.

I bought one for a Sig.232 and I can't imagine what the size of the SP would be for a 45!

I taped two cut off ear buds to the inside of the cover flap so they dangle outside giving the impression the case has some sort of a sound system inside
