For a long while I have been a fan of pocket carry vs any other method. Typically what was riding in my pocket was my trusty P32 in a Desantis Superfly pocket holster. A couple of months ago I went to the LGS not looking for anything in particular and got to hold a Springfield XDs in .45acp. It's pretty darn small for the caliber and I couldn't put it down so I bought it. I went home and ordered another Superfly for it. To my great pleasure it fits the front pocket of my jeans and cargo shorts and because of the Superfly it just looks like a big wallet in there. It's way heavier than a loaded P32, but having a .45 in my pocket is nice. I added a Talon grip and so far the gun has functioned 100%. I'm posting this in case anyone is wondering if pocket carrying the XDs is practical. For me the answer is yes. It pushes the envelope for weight IMO, but the cartridge offsets that concern for me. I still carry the P32 when I feel like it because it just disappears. Pics of the XDs:
