About 3:30 here. I seem to be a bit too squishy from 9:30 to 2:30...

3:00 to 4:30, I find that the thicker the gun, the more comfortable it is when I go behind the hip. My LC9 is so thin that it can ride almost anywhere comfortable, my Glock is more suited farther back. Also, by going back behind the hip, any ND is less likely to hit anything vital. I would much rather get shot through my butt cheek meat than my crotch (yes, that is a disgusting sentence but it's true).

I carry my Beretta Nano at around 4:00 or so (it's not real picky). My HK USP rides best at 3:30 or even 3:00 depending on what I'm wearing. Both ride in Garrett IWBs.

1:30-2, AIWB. Don't pull the trigger and you won't shoot yourself.

1 - 1:30, and what matthew said. This is the only place I've found comfortable and concealable, plus it has many other benefits.

I carry my SD9VE around 2:30-3. I have found that is pretty much the most concealable spot unless I want to go all the way to 5 o'clock, which for me is uncomfortable.

I'm a 1:30 - 2:00 person. My commander sized 1911, ruger sr9c, and lc9 all ride there in Garrett industries silent thunder slims.

I'm the same as you, except when I'm sitting I slide it over to the 3:00 position...I started trying to copy other seasoned guys who carried at the 4:30-5:00 position buy it always printed bad when I bent over and killed my back when I was sitting. With the forward cant of my holster, it is very comfy and conceals perfectly at the 2:00-2:30 position.
