    New Homemade Holster

Well its taken some time but I finally have my CC holster for my 6" revolver. Yes, I know its crazy to try and carry that big of a gun but its awful fun to try. It isn't the prettiest but here are some pictures of what it looks like and how it conceals. Sorry for the cruddy cell phone pics.

And when I feeling extra BA I can carry both my revolvers.

I like it.....with the time it takes to order new holsters these days we should all learn how to work leather and Kydex......good job and was probably fun to do......

Thanks. It was fun to build and honestly pretty easy. My brother works for a guy with a hobby leather shop. So all I do is design it and he cuts it, sews it and dyes it. I'm thinking I need to find some smaller grips. They stick out terribly now if I bend much.

I was just thinking yesterday, how I missed some of the old long horn holster designs. The one you made reminds me of their old ones.

Good for you on making something like that. That will earn a place in family history as a treasured item.

I hadn't really thought about it like that but your right it's pretty cool to think about.
