Belts - CBH, A&G, Stretching, Stiffiners?

I have been carrying since early this year with a Crossbreed system. I started with my M&P40c with a supertuck deluxe and their 1-1/4" belt, then added a minituck for my MK9 a few months later. Originally, the belt seemed pretty high quality. I have noticed with my M&P40c I am now 2 holes down on the belt from where I first wore it - right at the center hole. If I drop down 1 hole it is too loose now so I have to drop down another and it fits right. I only have one hole left when carrying, and 0 when I'm not - with none of the upper holes ever used.

My guess is the belt has just stretched over the past several months - a lot more than I would have guessed.

CBH belts don't have any stiffiner options, just their double layer stitched construction and velcro backing.

I have been browsing A&G Custom Gunleather's selection. I see they have an option for a stiffiner. I don't need it for the stability, but would it combat the stretching of the belt?

What ever I order I will order it a few holes smaller than what they spec - I followed what CBH recommends to a T and ended up with a belt a few holes too big. If I can measure close and get to the second to last hole on the big side, or the top hole, I'd be doing good. I hate having the wasted space, especially with no room left on the small side.

I too have the problem with my Crossbreed belt being too big following the advice on their website. I plan on taking it to a saddle or shoe repair shop to cut off some of the extra length so I don't have so much end sticking out when using my belt.

Take 2 viagra tablets, crush them with just a touch of water to make a paste. Rub it on the holster and you will be amazed at how it stiffens up.

Will Crossbreed not take a look at it?
