    Red Nichols

Nichols stingray.jpgHere is some of Red's stingray work. That stuff is hard as nails. The picture does not do it justice! Not sure if it will be part of his line. Right now, it needs a home, hey Red, sell it. Post the price. If not we are glad to keep in house, we do like art from famous makers. Especially it being one of kind.

Wow! That's gorgeous! Makes me anxious for Red to get the form to make a rig for the HK P30S...hint hint.

Beautiful holster! How was the stingray to work with?
I think guns are like insurance. I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Someone with the essential machinery of a medium-sized holster factory would find stingray easy to turn into holsters. A garage operator would find it a challenge: the sparkelies all over the skin are tiny beads of bone beneath a very thin layer of skin. That means knife-cutting is a noisy operation, and any sanding of the edges makes your shop smell like a dentist's office while he's drilling teeth :-)

The surface doesn't lend itself to boning for fit, so this one went to Michael for moulding in his presses.

That is one AWSOME holster! I would love to see that in the line up, I would have to sell a gun or two (maybe even one of the kids) to purchase one but it would be well worth it. GREAT JOB!

Even though I have an order with you already, if it was for a G19 I would be finding the money somewhere.
