Yes!! I use uncle mikes with a glock 27.Love it when I have to carry for a long driving and do NOT have a problem keeping it out of sight.. Do have to carry two clips on the off side to balance it out Have adjusted it so the gun is well under my arm pit. Bob

Rarely...I think they look cool and all but I find my belt holds the weight the best...you also have to keep a heavier cover garment on all the time....

    shoulder holster

Wear a FIST Model 70 when I carry under a vest or jacket in the spring, fall or winter and under a Hawaiian shirt in the summer. Comfortable and easy access. BacSi

I don't use it often, usually on my Harley and on cooler days (FL). I have worn it enough to break it in...very comfortable.
It is completely (and quickly) adjustable for T-shirt or sweatshirt...
Does not have to be latched to a belt and I can pull out the weapon with one hand...can reholster with one hand too!

I do like mine...I just don't use it that often...

I have Sam Andrew's double shoulder holster and love it. One thing to remember if you are using it with a heavy pistol such as a steel 1911, or other pistols of similar weight, get enough magizines on the other side to balance it out some. It may be a little heavier but after a full day of weight on one side you'll be glad you evened it up some. Rhome is working on a new design of shoulder holster for me now.

I don't know about the 1911, but for the SIG I suggest checking out the Aker Flatsider XR7 from Gall's. I've got one for my Glock and it works great! Plus, the price is $115, which is better than any other leather shoulder rig I saw.

    Shoulder Holster

I am retired and used a Galco Miami Classic all day today with a 3.5" Para OPS .45. As noted earlier, it spreads the weight across my back and is quite comfortable. Also, as noted, it sure helps to balance the off side with loaded mags or, if desired, a second gun.

Get in touch with me if you decide on a new Galco.

i wear the miami classic 4 days a week on the job. cover up with a open shirt in the summer and a vest in the winter. i have one that is 17 years old and it looks all most new. it does not ride up on the neck. you can buy cheap shoulder holsters and you get what you pay for, or you can go for the best and it wears well all day/night long.

I carry in a Nevada Gun Leather upside down rig for a S&W 2 1/2" 66. It is similar to the old Berns-Martin rig. www.gunleather.com is the url. or you can search Nevada gunleather. Excellent workmanship, too.
