    Gun Belts

What are some high quality but lower priced belts? Or even high quality, higher price but cheaper place to buy? I've looked at the Blackhawk CC belts and I like 'em, just no idea on quality. And then we sell the 5.11 tactical here on base but I'm not very found of em. Besides that I've gotten little exposure to them. I've pretty much been carrying with a thicker leather belt the past 6 months. Found a post through searching but it was started in 2010.

Wilderness Instructor sized six inches longer than your pants waist size should do the trick.

I actually like the 5.11 tactical, at least the one I have. It's very rigid, without being too thick to fit belt loops on shorts, and does a great job of supporting my heavy all-steel 1911. I don't know if they make different models or not, but mine has been great.

Ours here on base are hideous velcro ones. Almost like a riggers belt but without the hooks.

The best are Armour Belts: Armour Belts. For the money ($65 last time I checked), they are the no-brainer choice. Night and day a better gun belt than all others.

There are a few a level below that in quality, including The Beltman. Ironically, most at this level cost a little more.

The only real gun belt I have (and so limited experience here) is an A&G 1 inch belt. I love it and it has always performed flawlessly. Bought it in 2010, I think, and it still holds its shape and NO sagging! I think I paid about $65 + S&H. AG Custom Gun Leather | Premium Hand Crafted Leather Belts

Those are great looking leather products for the money. I prefer nylon simply because they are more adjustable, but if I were looking to go leather, I would give this brand a try.

I dig my Crossbreed Belt...so much so I bought two. Bought my dad one and he digs it. Belts are like, holsters and gun...everyone has got a favorite/the best. Lots of great choices out there!

Wow, quite an opinion you have there. Must have taken you a long time to try every gun belt ever made.

Another very satisfied Ares Ranger belt user here. Awesome belt and lifetime warranty as mentioned earlier.

5.11 and Blackhawk! are both good. I have a couple of the blackhawk rigger belts and use them very frequently. I also have an Original SOE rigid rigger belt which is more expensive, but it's a terrific belt.
