    Exclamation Holster Confiscation - Beware

A while ago when Remora had their 25% off plus free mag holder I ordered a 3 in one for my G26. Not that I'll ever use the elastic bands, but I have them just in case I have need for them.

So, I wore just the holster and really liked it but since that holster doesn't have the Remora "stuff" all over I thought perhaps a plain one with sweat shield would be nice. Then they had the 30% sale, so first I asked Hubby if he wanted one and got a resounding "NO". He has his leather Guy Holsters and he likes them, so there.

So I ordered one for my G26 and one for a S&W 60 that I don't have (yet). After wearing the one all day and all evening for a few days guess what happened?

I was in the bathroom this morning cutting my hair and my husband came and stood in the doorway and he was wearing his S&W snubby in MY HOLSTER!!!!!

    Confiscated.

After telling him he was using the wrong holster and getting him to put the snubby in the snubby holster he wore that for a little while and the next thing I know he shows up with his G27 in MY HOLSTER!!!!

    Confiscated again.

When I told him that as soon as I took my shower and got dressed he was going to have to give me back my holster he acted a bit miffed.

So: You guys know that when you get a new little gun and wifey falls in love with it you just hand it to her and smile because that means you can go out and get another gun, right?

I did not smile and hand it to him - but - two more Remora holsters are now on order for our household. I will have to put our names on them or both of mine are likely to disappear and he will have 4 and I will have none.

Like the way you think. Your Husband is a very lucky man I would guess most of the time. My wife of 41 years tell me the training must be reinforced occasionally.

Things like that have happened in our house too but of course I've never been guilty of it.

Yeah - I've always been one of those "if you can do it yourself why pay" people. It takes 2 mirrors, one in front and one in back plus a comb and a pair of scissors. And time.

Actually, I started cutting my first husband's hair when he was a student and we had no money. Then I cut my kids' hair until they got jobs (paper route, mowing, etc.) and chose to pay for haircuts themselves. Then, finally I figured what the heck and started cutting my own. If you go for a basic short cut, nothing fancy, it's really pretty easy.

Truly beautiful gun - and it DOES say "Lady" on it........and you probably do get fingerprints on it (that's a guy thing, right?)

Yeah, I guess they can do about anything. No privacy at all for anyone - just wanted to give them a few extra minutes work.

The NSA probably knows what we all look like by now.
Firing a suppressed is on my Bucket List.

I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

The problem with that snubbie is that I don't own it.

Actually I do have a new gun on order.......to fit the new J frame size holster. Other than that I can't think of a thing I want or need (at this moment in time) other than lunch.
