    CC offroad

I am trying to figure out the best way to carry my handgun while I'm out riding around on my RZR. I usually carry IWB and that's what I've been doing when offroad but I've been getting deeper and deeper in the mud and water...lol It has gotten to the point I wear swimming trunks while out riding now. The last time I ended up pulling my holster and sticking it in the glove box but that's not really a good option since I don't care for leaving it laying loose in there. Anyone else have this issue and come up with a fix? I plan on building an overhead console out of fiberglass for my sound system and I'm thinking of building in a cubby with a mounted holster but I'm not ready to pull the trigger so to speak on that project yet.

LOL, I hear ya! I don't have many pics since we are usually too busy riding but here is a buddy of mine on a 4 wheeler last time we went riding...

I had thought about that but we swim while we are out. What holster could I get that wouldn't be affected by water and hold it's shape empty when I went swimming? I could toss the gun in the glovebox while swimming and just keep a tshirt on over the holster to keep it somewhat concealed...that is an option.

Oh comeon! Take it off the entire holster when you swim, an put it back on when you get out.

What would be the point of swimming with an empty holster?

I don't have any experience with the shoulder system....didn't realize they were that easy to get on and off. Just looking for the perfect solution...which I don't think exists! LOL

You can get a shoulder rig that you just put your arms through and it clips to your pants. 15 sec on and off. No need to get an expensive one for 4 wheeling, it's going to get muddy and trashed anyway.

Sounds good...any name brands to suggest? I'll start doing my homework on them now.

I'd just check eBay and get an inexpensive one.

As long as you are out of the water at hip level, have you thought about an old school flap holster? I have posted some example below with links. There are also synthetic designs out there that work well and are not as expensive.
