This. It's the first holster that came to mind fitting your qualifications.

Just curious, what was it that you didn't like about the VM2?

I EDC my P229 in a MTAC by Comp- Tac and love the low ride and comfort.

The VM2 is a great holster, as are all Sparks products. The VM2 doesn't have enough forward cant to allow me to conceal larger weapons.

Try Foxx holsters. Just $39 gets you in. Their hybrid kydex/leather holster is simple but very practical and comfortable. I've worn mine for well over half a year and it conceals even a Glock 17 under my (darker and looser) t-shirts.

I have a custom holster (Segretto) from DefensiveLineLeathers. The leather holster has pull dots, rides low but is easy to draw the gun, is reinforced along the mouth and remains open for easy re-holstering. I am not sure the actual cant on this holster, but it is more than my other holsters. Tim, the owner, is a pleasure to do business with and probably can customize the holster anyway you'd like. He constructs and ships the holsters in days, not months and the quality is great. He ordered a blue gun for me, so if your model is not listed, give him a call (though he lists the Sig P229). His prices are very reasonable. I am not related to DefensiveLineLeathers in any way, just think his work is top quality, good price, and fits you request.

Have you checked Brigade Gun Leather? I like the M11 Hardcore, have one on order. The wait is long but from what I've heard it's worth it. I've called and talked to Troy a number of times, he is personable and makes sure you get the holster you want. Check him out. Brigade Holsters- M-11 Ultimate CCW IWB Holster
