Which Remora holster should I get for a S&W 642?

I love my Remora holsters I currently have. The 6ART-SS w/Remora Hyde for the M&P 40c. The 5MP-ART-SS for the Shield. The 2A for the Bodyguard 380.

Now I'm looking to get one for my newest purchase the S&W 642 .38 special snub nose revolver. I'm wondering which Remora is the best fit. I just spoke with customer service but they were getting ready to leave and the lady I spoke with wasn't sure. She said she would have the fitment specialist call tomorrow. The 642 has the 1 7/8" barrel so she wasn't sure if I needed the 8UC or the 8CH. Which is best for pocket carry?

I was also wondering what modifications if any should I consider? I want to mainly pocket carry but would also carry IWB sometimes. Should I get the leather or standard with the revolver?

    Thanks

Luke 22:36,38 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Thinking the Series 8UC is the correct holster. Anyone know if this is correct?

Why don't you ask the folks at Remora?

    I have:

series 8, with sweat shied and remora hyde

    and an 8CH

Both work fine for IWB, but, to be honest, for pocket carry they are a bit big. For pocket I just use an uncle Mikes.

Thanks PEF. Remora contacted me this morning and I was told the 8CH is the one I need for a 642. Shelly actually stated the 8UC is for longer barrels. So looks like the 8CH is the one. As far as pocket carry I'll have to check out that Uncle Mike's. Thanks again!

I have the 8CH and don't like it in the pocket. The Remora's are awesome IWB holsters, we own four of them so far. I find it too bulky for pocket with the J frame. My uncle Mikes works great in the pocket.

What size Uncle Mike's do you guys have? I just bought the size #3 and it seems a little snug, but the guy at the LGS said it'll loosen up a bit over time. Do you find this to be true? Were your Uncle Mike's holsters tight when you first got them?
