list of IWB/CCW holsters...
Hi all,
I've been researching IWB holsters for my first CCW piece (a Sig P239 in 9mm, DA/SA), and thought I'd share my findings with the rest of you. Please see the two pictures below that contain a table of holster manufacturers, models, descriptions, and prices of IWB holsters I've found for the Sig P239.
In my case, I'm specifically looking for a tuckable IWB leather holster that can be made with brown leather belt attachments. 99% of the time my dress is blue jeans and I usually use a brown leather belt instead of a black one, which is why I would think brown leather loops would be best.
I'm not exclusing kydex clips (or anything else) from consideration at this point, and would love to hear from anyone who has first-hand experience carrying the P239 using an IWB holster. What holster do you recommend as why? I'm 6'3" tall, and weigh about 205lbs if that helps at all.
Here is the table. I hope this info can help anyone else researching IWB holsters for the P239 or any other gun for that matter.
Chris

Chris--
You might want to research the Galco Skyops a little closer.
They now make an optional 1.5" Y-hook adapter which allows use with a 1.5" belt.

Here I go plugging the competition, but you've left off two of the best makers out there - Lou Alessi and Matt DelFatti.
Matt will make anything you want, but does have some standard models if you check out his site.
Lou offers everything from his less expensive Talon IWB to his reknowned PCH. Lou doesn't have a web-site but if you do a Google search you'll find some distributors that list products and prices. (Including LA Sports who responded above. I'm suprised they didn't make mention of Lou and Matt).

Chris, I don't know if you noticed our Holster Links in the blue bar, but you may find more if you check there. Please let P95Carry or me know if you find any dead links. For sure you need to check with K & D Holsters. I know Kevin makes an IWB for the SIG P239 called the Cochise Defender. I wear one everyday with my P239 9mm in it.

Great work on that table. It's ashame you can't try on some of those holsters prior to buying because everyone is different. What one person prefers, another may not. Also I think there is a bunch of other leather makers you left off the list. Check out the Full Holster maker thread with links to all other sites. I own the following from your list. Rosen ARG, Kramer IWB#3, Galco IWB and Comptac's CTAC. What I found was Comptac's CTAC to be the most comfortable and easiest to take on/off. You also might try posing the same question on sigforum.com since many there are 239 owners. Good luck with your decision

Thanks for the info, guys. It looks like I have some more research to do. The choices in holsters is so vast I'm having a difficult time deciding what to try first.

There is also the new Dakota Defender, which is tuckable IWB (not on the website yet, but there is a thread about it Here)
My wife said she is going to be getting me one as a Christmas Gift!
