    Belt Clip Holsters

Anyone know how to make a belt clip holster more stable? Besides get a new holster or a new belt? I'm liking A-IWB now that I fixed my posture but I don't like my junk shifting around when I move and sit, I'd rather have it be uncomfortable and always in the same spot. I'm using a Don Hume H715M-WC with a Sig P226 on a Rafter S 1.25" belt.

Perhaps your holster is made for a 1.5 inch belt and you're using 1.25???

It's made for a 1.75" belt, as are most production holsters with belt clips.

Yeah, I wasn't asking WHY it wasn't stable, I was asking HOW to make it more stable.

This is an excellent observation about clip holsters. Make sure that the size of the clip on the holster (the do come in different belt sizes) is the same size as the belt you are using. A 1.75" clip with a 1.5" pr 1.25" belt will result in the holster moving around on the belt - IMHO not a good thing. It took some time for me to learn this but it is a very important factor in using a clip holster.

I don't think there is much you can do really. sorry, but the belt clip only is so big , it cannot stablize beyond its coverage area.
