Questions: OWB Kydex for Ruger SR9c

Now that I've got my SR9c and tried it out. I'm looking for a holster. I like OWB kydex. I'd kinda like a Blackhawk Serpa CQC, but they make a model for the SR9 (not SR9c) and I don't believe the SR9c will fit. Can anyone verify this?

I have a leather, Don Hume J.I.T. slide for a Glock 19 that fits it ok and will do, but would like to have a kydex option that is not $60. I know there are several out there and the only one I found that even comes close to my holster budget is Black Dog OWB Holsters - BDC | BDC.

I've used the "search" box and read some of the threads on this, that is how I came across the Black Dog holster.

    Any input?

    Raven ConcealmentPhantom Modular Holster

Crown HolstersRoyal Modular Holster - Holsters

These are my two "go to" companies. Raven is slightly better quality but, Crown is generally faster.

I'm looking (off and on) for a new holster for my SR9c. Galco makes an OWB Leather/Kydex that is reasonably priced and looks pretty decent. I'm seriously considering it myself.

Has anyone bought a Blackhawk Serpa CQC Kydex (with lock) for their SR9c? The only one listed is for the SR9. Does the SR9c fit? First hand experience!!

BradL did you ever get the Galco Tac Slide for your SR9c? If so, let me know what you think of it.

You won't be disappointed in KT have bought a few. Very impressed, cheaper and faster than Raven or Bravo. I also just bought a sr9c but I'm looking at Iwb. Probably go with Cooks I have one of theirs for my m&p9 and love it. Check cooks out also or CryHavocGear. I'd suggest zero can't on owb especially small gun like a sr9c. Sr9c should fit any sr9 holster.

I just got a couple of AlienGear Tuck 2.0 IWB holsters (bought a pair). One for the Glock 26 and one for the SR9c. I like them ok. I'm not real big on IWB but wanted to try it out. My G26 is actually
more comfortable in a OWB Galco M5X Matrix paddle holster. It holds it up closer to the body than the Blackhawk Serpas do and is quick on/off. They just don't make one for the Ruger SR9c. I read that
somewhere else also that the SR9 holsters will work for the SR9c, but... the holster will be a little long because the 9c has a shorter barrel/slide.

I'm thinking about the KT and the Galco TAC Slide. The only thing I worry about with the KT is the width of the holster at the bottom. I'm afraid while sitting, it would dig into my hip/leg as I am narrow.
Especially if the holster comes down low enough at bottom edge. I like them high and tight you might say.

I'll google cooks and cryhavocgear. Never heard of either.

Take a look at North Texas Custom Kydex, he does one with a carbon fiber look thats really nice and its a family run business. I believe his holsters can also be converted to IWB.

Thanks. His product looks pretty much like KT but more expensive.
