Short answer: it sucks. Any "holster" that doesn't cover the trigger isn't a holster at all. More like a ND waiting to happen. I'd pass.

It's a shame that you ordered it before asking folks here. And, no, this is not one of the funny "it's awful, send it to me" posts that some people make. Frankly, I wouldn't have one for free. Sorry.

Agree with Granny. Ya kinda got things in reverse. Asking before buying might have been a better procedure. I have to say that anything that doesn't cover the trigger is bad mojo!!! Like asking for trouble. Some folks swear by them; others swear at them.

It only covers one side. The back side is wide open.

How long have you been carrying? What weapon do you intend to carry with the Versa?

I have one, it works just fine, no problems with it at all. The backside isn't wide open when it's pressed against your stomach. If you have half a brain and can manage to keep your finger out of the trigger guard until you're ready to discharge your firearm, you won't have any problems anyway.

Backside is against your body. I honestly don't see the problem. I don't know that I'm going to get in line to buy one, but saying they're dangerous is a bit of a stretch.

That's a bit condescending, don't you think? You only need half a brain to keep safe with this one-sided "holster"? I've seen more than a few very intelligent and respected people who have a problem with, essentially, 1/2 of a holster. I don't like the concept. Many folks don't. You do. So use the Versa-Carry and enjoy it. If you have a ND I promise I won't say "told ya so!!!".

Had one. (Plastic) guide rod broke.
Besides, the only thing I want going down my barrel are bullets.
