I've been debating how and what to carry with me and I came up with this option. A Glock 23 in a Kangaroo Industris holster w/ an IWB mag pouch (possitioned at 8 o'clock) and a Kel-Tec P3AT in my back rear pocket as a BUG. How about some feeback?

IWB mag pouches seem uncomfortable to me and don't seem to conceal all that much better than OWB. As for the back pocket carry, sounds ok if you have the room & a good way to break up the guns outline.

rocky;
I agree with you IWB mag pouches are a bit uncomfortable but I'm here in Texas and it's hot 99% of the time. Jeans, boots and a tucked in shirt are the order of the day. I'll have to sacrifice some comfort in order to conceal an extra magazine. www.pocketholsters.com and www.kdholsters.com Pocket Defender Convertible 2-in-1 (at artz suggestion) seem like a good option for a rear pocket holster. They don't seem like they would print through and give away the fact that I'm carrying.

You are wearing boots right?
Whats wrong with sticking an extra mag or two in your boot ? That would be a lot more confortable and virtually undetectable.

I personally find IWB very comfortable...body architecture, whatever. I see no reason why not to do so if you are comfortable with it.
Good luck, and good shooting!![]()

I wear my pistol IWB, but not my mags

The general consensus on IWB mag holders is they are very uncomfortable...most people think they won't be since they are smaller than the gun but the smaller area makes them dig into your side more...I tried one for a day and I have to agree...
I may not be having similar problems others are mentioning with IWB on magazines because I only IWB single-stacks. Perhaps the double-stack magazines "dig" more...?
My 1911 single stack sure dig in, as well as my HK USP Poly mags.

What about a pocket mag pouch? If your bug is going to ride in a back pocket then a mag pouch in the weak hand front pocket could be an option. Not the fastest to get to but neither is an iwb under a tucked in t-shirt.
